Who is responsible

For all privacy questions, requests, or complaints, use the contact page.
A formal company entity and full Impressum will be published here as bergmoney expands.

Third-party affiliate partner cookies

- •Used to attribute a future signup or purchase to bergmoney
- •Governed by the partner's own privacy policy, not ours
Why we process data
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the website
- Sending the newsletter to confirmed subscribers
- Replying to contact form messages
- Protecting the site against abuse, spam, and security threats
- Complying with legal obligations
Under what legal basis we process
- Consent For optional services such as the newsletter and any non-essential cookies (Art. 6 nFADP / Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Legitimate interest For security logs, anonymous analytics, and protecting the site against abuse — balanced against your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 31(2)(d) nFADP / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Contract performance Where data processing is necessary to provide a service you actively requested (e.g. answering a contact form message).
- Legal obligation Where Swiss or applicable EU law requires us to retain or disclose data.
Who else may receive your data
We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the website. Where required by Art. 9 nFADP, processors are bound by data processing agreements.
- Cloudflare, Inc. Static hosting, CDN, security (Cloudflare Pages). Data may be processed at global edge locations.
- Email service provider Newsletter and transactional email delivery. Provider disclosed here once selected.
- Affiliate networks When you click an affiliate link, the network or partner sets its own cookie. We do not transmit personal data to them — they receive only an anonymous referral attribution.
Data outside Switzerland
Some of our service providers (e.g. Cloudflare) operate globally and may process data in countries outside Switzerland or the EU.
Where data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision of the Swiss Federal Council under Art. 16 nFADP, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), binding corporate rules, or — for the United States — the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
The current list of countries recognised by the Federal Council as providing adequate data protection is published by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).
Cookies
We do not set first-party tracking cookies. Some third parties (notably affiliate partners and our hosting provider) may set cookies under specific conditions.
